In the spring of 2003 after starting up my Rabbitry I was invited to visit Peace Arch Elementary School and bring my bunnies of course.  The bunnies where a big hit, all the children and parents loved them. Then I was invited to another class room and some parents asked me if I had more information about rabbit care. Their child had a pet rabbit and wanted to make sure that the pet was getting the proper care. I decide that I would do a ONE TIME workshop on Basic Bunny Care.

Of course the workshop was a huge success and soon the White Wock Wabbit Club was born. We meet once a month and the children all bring their pet rabbits We also have some  guinea pigs that have now joined us. I help the children clip nails, check teeth, weight and check the over all health of their pets. All the children have a fabulous time enjoying each others company as well as the company of all the pets. I also bring out my current litters of babies for the children to enjoy. They are always a big hit!

During the school year  White Wock Wabbit Club visits our local Mall, Hospital as well as the Peace Arch Hospital's Country Fair.  It sure has taught me the value of introducing children, seniors and pets, what a wonderful combination.

Large Lagomorph.....The White Wock Wabbit Club held a "bunny workshop" to Semiahmoo Shopping Centre Oct. 15. Shoppers had the chance to meet the kids and their pet bunnies, including "Sadie", a 23-pound Flemish giant.

Some of the many bunnies that we bring to the Fair each year.

The moms really enjoy coming and being part of the festivities.

There are always a lot of children around our tables.  :o)

A little hop around time for the Baxter and Clifford.

The White Wock Wabbit Club banner. Didn't the kids do a fantastic job!!!

My big guys are always an enormous hit. Big old Sadie is getting a little to old for the visits and she was definitely missed by all. :o(

Peace Arch Hospital's Country Fair 2005

Every year the Peace Arch Hospital puts on an old fashion Country Fair. We always have such a blast!!!

Of course Sadie is always a  huge hit and guessing her weight is always a big laugh for the visitors.

The Easter Fair at the Mall is a lot of fun as well. I have told the kids that I have a policy of not selling bunnies at Easter time. People can take my name and call me after the Easter season is over.  The bunny club kids really enjoy visiting the Peach Arch Hospital with their pet bunnies.
